3/4 cup sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup vanilla or white chips
4 ounces bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
3/4 cup English toffee bits or almond brickle chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, cream the shortening, butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add 1 egg at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. 1 3/4 cups Gold Medal™ white whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups candy-coated chocolate candies
1 cup dry-roasted peanuts
3/4 cup raisins

  • 2 cups assorted mix-ins (such as holiday M&Ms, toffee bits, shredded coconut, peanut butter chips and/or white chocolate chunks)
  • Position racks in the upper and lower thirds of the oven and preheat to 375 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Sift the flour, baking soda and salt into a large bowl. 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
⅛ teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter
¾ cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup milk chocolate chips
4 (1 ounce) squares bittersweet chocolate, cut into 1/2 inch chunks
2 ounces white chocolate, chopped
½ cup chopped toasted pecans
¾ cup toffee baking bits

Steps:

  • Position one rack in the top and another in the bottom third of the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a medium bowl, using a wire whisk, stir together the flour, baking soda and salt until thoroughly blended.
  • In a medium size bowl, beat the butter for 30 seconds at medium speed until creamy.
