Tips:

  • Choose fresh, high-quality ingredients. Look for sweet peas that are bright green and plump, and avocados that are ripe but not mushy.
  • Use a sharp knife to dice the onion, garlic, and jalapeño. This will help to prevent them from tearing, which can make the guacamole bitter.
  • Toast the cumin seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat until they are fragrant. This will enhance their flavor.
  • Mash the avocados until they are smooth, but not too liquid. You want the guacamole to be creamy, but not runny.
  • Stir in the peas, onion, garlic, jalapeño, cumin, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Taste the guacamole and adjust the seasonings as needed. You may want to add more salt, pepper, or lime juice, depending on your personal preference.
  • Serve the guacamole immediately, or store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Conclusion:

Sweet pea guacamole is a delicious and healthy appetizer or snack. It is made with fresh, simple ingredients and is packed with flavor. This recipe is easy to make and can be tailored to your own personal preferences. You can add more or less spice, or you can use different herbs or vegetables. No matter how you make it, sweet pea guacamole is sure to be a hit at your next party or gathering.
