2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons pancake syrup (or molases)

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

4 ounces boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 8 nuggets
2 tablespoons liquid egg substitute (like Egg Beaters Original)
2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1 teaspoon seasoned rice vinegar
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 dash salt
1 dash black pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and/or spray with nonstick spray.
  • Place chicken in a bowl, cover with egg substitute, and toss to coat. Set aside.

1-1/2 cups ketchup
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
