Tips:

  • Use fresh, ripe tomatoes. This will give your sauce the best flavor.
  • Roast the tomatoes before making the sauce. Roasting intensifies the tomato flavor and makes the sauce more complex.
  • Use a good quality olive oil. Olive oil is the traditional fat used in Italian cooking, and it adds a delicious flavor to the sauce.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan when cooking the spaghetti. This will prevent the spaghetti from cooking evenly.
  • Cook the spaghetti until it is al dente, or slightly firm to the bite. This will prevent the spaghetti from becoming mushy.
  • Garnish the spaghetti with fresh basil before serving. Basil adds a bright, fresh flavor to the dish.

Conclusion:

Tomato basil spaghetti is a classic Italian dish that is easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a delicious and flavorful meal that is perfect for any occasion. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal, give tomato basil spaghetti a try. You won't be disappointed!
