Tips:
- For the best flavor, use high-quality tuna and hummus. Look for tuna that is packed in water or oil, and hummus that is made with fresh, flavorful ingredients.
- If you don't have any hummus on hand, you can easily make your own. Simply combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and salt in a food processor or blender until smooth.
- Feel free to get creative with your sandwich fillings. In addition to tuna and hummus, you can also add other ingredients like avocado, cucumber, tomato, red onion, or sprouts.
- If you're packing your sandwich for lunch, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. This will help to keep the sandwich fresh and prevent the bread from getting soggy.
Conclusion:
Tuna and hummus sandwiches are a quick, easy, and delicious lunch option. They're also a great way to use up leftover tuna or hummus. With a few simple ingredients, you can create a flavorful and satisfying sandwich that you'll love.
