ULTIMATE CHOCOLATE FUDGE

Ultimate Chocolate Fudge image

If you want chocolate fudge, this is it! I got this recipe from my mother-in-law. It's a Christmas staple in her house, and it's my husband's favorite fudge. It makes a lot of fudge, so it's a good recipe to use for gift giving. Prep time is approximate. The recipe can be credited to Mrs. Paul Kaczinsky.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate: The quality of your chocolate will greatly impact the flavor of your fudge. Look for chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 60%.
  • Don't overcook the fudge: Overcooked fudge will be grainy and crumbly. Cook the fudge until it reaches a temperature of 235 degrees Fahrenheit (113 degrees Celsius), then remove it from the heat immediately.
  • Let the fudge cool completely before cutting it: This will help the fudge to set properly and prevent it from becoming crumbly.
  • Store the fudge in an airtight container in a cool, dry place: Fudge can be stored for up to two weeks at room temperature or for up to three months in the refrigerator.

Conclusion:

Chocolate fudge is a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. With just a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a rich and decadent fudge that will satisfy your sweet tooth.
