Tips:

  • To ensure the chicken strips are crispy, make sure to coat them evenly in the flour mixture and then in the egg wash.
  • For extra crispy chicken strips, double-coat them in the flour mixture and egg wash.
  • If you don't have buttermilk, you can make your own by adding 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar to 1 cup of milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes before using.
  • To make the chicken strips even more flavorful, marinate them in the buttermilk mixture for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Be careful not to overcrowd the chicken strips in the pan when frying. This will cause them to steam instead of fry and they will not be as crispy.
  • Serve the chicken strips immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Conclusion:

Uncle Bill's Chicken Strips are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or main course. They are perfect for parties, potlucks, or a quick weeknight meal. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can enjoy these crispy, flavorful chicken strips that are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
