Tips:

  • Use room temperature butter. This will make it easier to cream together with the sugar and eggs, resulting in a smoother batter.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can make the brownies tough and dry. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Use chopped walnuts. This will help distribute the walnuts evenly throughout the brownies. If you use whole walnuts, they may sink to the bottom of the pan.
  • Bake the brownies until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached. If the toothpick comes out clean, the brownies are overbaked.
  • Let the brownies cool completely before cutting them. This will help them hold their shape and prevent them from crumbling.

Conclusion:

These walnut oat brownies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat. They're perfect for any occasion, from potlucks to birthday parties. With their chewy texture and rich chocolate flavor, they're sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
