Steps:

  • Freeze 2 cups cubed watermelon until solid. Meanwhile, bring 3/4 cup each sugar and water to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Transfer to a pitcher and refrigerate until cold. Puree 4 more cups cubed watermelon in a blender; strain into the pitcher. Stir in 1 cup lime juice (from about 9 limes) and 2 cups cold seltzer. Add the frozen watermelon and some lime slices.

Tips:

  • Choose the right watermelon: Look for a ripe watermelon with a deep red color and a smooth, even rind. Avoid watermelons with bruises or cuts.
  • Chill the watermelon before serving: This will help to enhance the flavor and make it more refreshing.
  • Use a sharp knife to cut the watermelon: This will help to prevent the watermelon from tearing.
  • Remove the seeds from the watermelon: You can do this by using a spoon or a knife. If you are using a spoon, be careful not to scoop out too much of the watermelon flesh.
  • Be creative with your watermelon recipes: There are many different ways to enjoy watermelon. You can eat it fresh, grilled, roasted, or even pickled.
