  • Pour over steak; marinate for at least 1 day in freezer.

Tips:

  • Choose a flavorful cut of steak: Ribeye, strip loin, and flank steak are all good options. For maximum tenderness, consider using a more expensive cut like filet mignon or New York strip.
  • Use a good quality whiskey: The better the whiskey, the better the marinade will be. Look for a whiskey that has a strong flavor profile, such as bourbon or rye.
  • Marinate the steak for at least 4 hours, but no longer than 24 hours: This will give the whiskey time to penetrate the meat and impart its flavor.
  • Cook the steak over high heat: This will help to create a nice crust on the outside of the steak while keeping the inside juicy and tender.
  • Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving: This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more flavorful steak.

Conclusion:

Whiskey marinated steak is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a special occasion or a casual weeknight meal.
