FROZEN WHISKEY SOUR
Steps:
- 1. Combine all ingredients and mix well to dissolve the juices and sugar. Put in freezer and freeze to slushy stage. Garnish with cherry and orange slice and serve. Serves 20. Mixture remains slushy in freezer for days.
Tips:
- Chill your glass: This will help the whiskey sour stay cold and refreshing. You can chill your glass by placing it in the freezer for a few minutes before you make the drink.
- Use fresh lemon juice: Fresh lemon juice will give your whiskey sour a bright and tart flavor. Avoid using bottled lemon juice, as it can be bitter and harsh.
- Add simple syrup to taste: Simple syrup is a mixture of sugar and water that is used to sweeten cocktails. The amount of simple syrup you add to your whiskey sour will depend on your personal preference. Start with a small amount and add more to taste.
- Shake or stir your drink: You can either shake or stir your whiskey sour. If you shake it, you will get a foamy drink with a light texture. If you stir it, you will get a clearer drink with a heavier texture.
- Garnish your drink with a lemon twist or cherry: This will add a pop of color and flavor to your drink.
Conclusion:
The whiskey sour is a classic cocktail that is easy to make and can be enjoyed by everyone. It is a refreshing and flavorful drink that is perfect for any occasion. So next time you are looking for a delicious and easy-to-make cocktail, give the whiskey sour a try.
