Tips:

  • For a sweeter bread, use sweeter applesauce. You can also add a little bit of sugar or honey to the batter if desired.
  • If you don't have applesauce, you can make your own by peeling and coring some apples, then cooking them in a saucepan with a little bit of water until they are soft. Then, mash them up with a fork or potato masher.
  • If you don't have a bread machine, you can make this bread by hand. Just mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl, then pour the batter into a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • This bread is best when eaten fresh, but it can also be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can also freeze the bread for up to 2 months. To thaw, simply place the bread in the refrigerator overnight.

Conclusion:

This whole wheat applesauce loaf is a delicious and healthy bread that is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a snack. It is easy to make, and it is a great way to use up leftover applesauce. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy bread recipe, give this one a try.
