Tips:

  • Use a variety of dried fruits: This will add different flavors and textures to your stuffing. Some good options include cranberries, raisins, cherries, apricots, and figs.
  • Toast the hazelnuts before adding them to the stuffing: This will bring out their flavor and make them more crunchy.
  • Use a good quality broth: The broth is a key ingredient in stuffing, so make sure to use a good quality one. You can use chicken broth, vegetable broth, or even white wine.
  • Don't overcook the stuffing: Stuffing is best when it is slightly moist, so don't cook it for too long. You can check to see if it is done by inserting a toothpick into the center. If the toothpick comes out clean, the stuffing is done.
  • Let the stuffing rest before serving: This will allow the flavors to meld together and will make the stuffing easier to serve.
