1 unbaked pastry shell (9 inches)
1/3 cup chopped Canadian bacon or fully cooked ham
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 cup cooked wild rice
3 large eggs
1-1/2 cups half-and-half cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
Snipped parsley, optional

Steps:

  • Bake crust at 425° for 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and set aside. Reduce heat to 325°. , In a skillet, saute Canadian bacon or ham and onion in butter until onion is tender. ¼ cup uncooked wild rice
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
1 cup cubed cooked ham
⅓ cup finely chopped red bell pepper
¼ cup thinly sliced green onion tops
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
½ teaspoon salt
⅛ teaspoon black pepper
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese

1 c cooked, wild rice
6 large beaten eggs
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 c shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 c bacon bits (i used the package of recipe style real bacon bits).
1 Tbsp onion- (dried)
salt and pepper and any seasoning if you wish.

Steps:

  • 1. With mixer beat eggs, then add soup, cheese, rice, meat and minced onion. Add salt and pepper. Mix will with mixer. Pour into quiche dish or 9-10 in pie plate sprayed with PAM. Bake at 375' for 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand a few minutes before serving. Can be prepared the night before and baked the next morning. 6 eggs
1/2 cup milk
Cream of mushroom soup
