Border Town Refried Beans or Bean Dip image

This recipe makes a great dip or side dish. If making this for a dip, I highly recommend using the beer rather than chicken broth as it adds a nice, subtle flavor. Serves 4 as a side dish, many more as a dip.

I've tried a lot of refried bean recipes, but this one is definitely my favorite. The beans are always creamy and flavorful, and they're the perfect addition to any Mexican meal.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my refried beans turned out really bland. I think I might have forgotten to add the salt.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my refried beans turned out too dry. I had to add some extra liquid to make them creamy.

These refried beans were a bit too spicy for my taste, but they were still good. I would recommend using less chipotle peppers if you don't like spicy food.

I'm not a huge fan of refried beans, but these were actually pretty good. They were creamy and flavorful, and I liked the addition of the cheese.

These refried beans were a hit at my last party! I served them with chips and salsa, and they were gone in no time. They're so easy to make, and they taste just like the ones from my favorite Mexican restaurant.
