Broiled Feta with Oranges image

This salty-tangy appetizer is great with bread and only takes a few minutes to prepare.

Number Of Ingredients 7

8-ounce slab of feta, blotted dry, at room temperature for 30 minutes
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for bread
1 tablespoon honey, plus more for drizzling
2 clementines or small blood oranges, peel and pith removed, segmented or cut into rounds
1 tablespoon fresh oregano leaves
Freshly ground black pepper
Toasted rustic bread, for serving

Steps:

  • Heat broiler. In a small baking dish, drizzle feta with oil and brush with honey. Broil, turning once, until bubbly and caramelized, 4 to 6 minutes.
  • Top with oranges and oregano. Season with pepper and drizzle with honey. Serve with oil-brushed bread.
