2 1/2 cups sugar
6 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup coconut
1 cup pecans, chopped

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients.
  • Pour into 2 8-inch unbaked pie shells, or 1 10-inch unbaked pie shell.
  • Bake at 325°F for an hour, or until pie is almost set in the middle.
  • Cool and serve.
