Steps:
- 1. Cream cheese, sugar and flavoring with mixer until smooth.
- 2. Form into a ball, and refrigerate for 3 minutes to regain harder consistency.
- 3. Once hardened, roll ball into chopped pecan.
- 4. Return to refrigerator until ready to serve.
- 5. Serve cheese ball with apple and/or pear slices or with small bite-sized shortbread cookies.
