When I need something easy to make for supper that requires very little work, this recipe is at the top of my list. My whole family loves it, and it's pretty much a meal in itself. I usually throw on a pot of green beans to have with it.

Steps:
- 1. Place the potatoes, carrot and onion in a 2.5 quart lightly greased casserole dish. Add the oil and all the seasonings. Toss to coat well then dot the potatoes with the butter. Lay the sausages across the top. Cover with tinfoil and place in a 425 degree oven for 30 minutes. Remove and uncover, return to the oven for 20 minutes (check the potatoes for tenderness). Remove and top with the cheese and place back in the oven for 10 minutes.
