Chocolate Malted Cookie image

Yumm. Chocolate Malt. Enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c butter, softened
2 eggs
2 c all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 c chocolate malt flavor drink mix (like ovaltine)
1/4 tsp salt
1-1/2 c powder sugar
1/4 c chocolate malt flavor drink mix (like ovaltine)
2 Tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 c malt balls, crushed

Steps:

  • 1. In large bowl beat brown sugar, butter and eggs on medium until well blended. Stir in flour, 1/2 cup malted milk mix, baking powder, baking soda and salt
  • 2. Drop dough by tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes or until edges are set. Cool for 1 minute then remove from baking sheet. and cool completely.
  • 3. Mix remaining ingredients except malt balls (powder sugar, malted milk mix, milk, and vanilla) until spread forms. Spread the glaze over cookies, sprinkle with the crushed malt balls.
  • 4. Enjoy
