CITRUS CRANBERRY SAUCE image

Yield 2 cups

Number Of Ingredients 6

1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup apple juice
1/3 cup granulated sugar
3 cups cranberries
1/2 teaspoon orange zest
1/4 teaspoon lemon zest

Steps:

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine orange & apple juice and sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved and then bring it to a boil.
  • Add cranberries, stir and return to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and add orange & lemon zest; stir. Let simmer gently for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and let it cool completely before transferring to the refrigerator.
