Citrus Healthy Smoothie image

Turmeric is one of my favorite super foods. Its medicinal properties are well documented.

2 frozen bananas, cut into small chunks
2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
1 cup fresh orange juice
1 cup coconut milk
1 lime, juiced
2 teaspoons ground turmeric
1 (1/2 inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
ice cubes as desired

Steps:

  • Blend bananas, pineapple, orange juice, coconut milk, lime juice, turmeric, ginger, nutmeg, and ice cubes together in a blender until smooth.
