Coca-Cola Barbecue Sauce image

This is an awesome Barbecue Sauce. The taste is "just perfect". A lot of the bottled sauces are too tangy, too strong, etc. This does not get super thick and it has more of a mild flavor. You can use it on anything but the author highly recommends it on Chicken, ribs and pork. The recipe is from Steven Raichlen, author of The "Barbecue Bible".

The sauce was a bit too tangy for my liking. I would add some brown sugar to balance out the flavor.

I found the sauce to be a bit too thin. I would add some cornstarch or tomato paste to thicken it up.

This sauce is a bit too sweet for my taste. I prefer a more savory barbecue sauce.
