Cornbread In A Jar image

1 c yellow corn meal
1 c flour
1/4 c sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Steps:

  • 1. Directions: Sift together all ingredients, place in a plastic bag or decorative container at room temperature. Make sure container is large enough so that a bow or decorative ornament can be placed with the instuctions
  • 2. Instructions For Tag: Pour package of mix into a bowl. Add 1 egg, 1 cup milk, and 4 Tbsp. softened butter. Whisk or stir until smooth. Pour batter into a greased 8x8x2 inch baking pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
