Great for the freezer in individual baggies that can be taken out and passed to children seeking a great snack.

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 c peanut butter, smooth or chunky
1 c oatmeal
1 c brown sugar or sugar substitute
1 c flour
1 c wheat germ
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 c applesauce, unsweetened
1 large egg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 c raisins
1 c chocolate chips
1 Tbsp cinnamon, mixed with sugar or sugaar substitute for sprinkling

Steps:

  • 1. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees
  • 2. mix well all ingredients except Chocolate chips and Raisins
  • 3. add Chocolate chips and Raisins, and stir in gently
  • 4. form 2 inch balls and poke a hole with a finger, through the middle of the balls and place them on sprayed (cooking oil) cookie sheet.
  • 5. sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • 6. bake at 350 degrees, for about 15 minutes till golden brown
