Crab Rangoon image

These are an easy snack to make. My teenage daughter makes these all the time when she has friends over.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 pkg cream cheese 8 oz, softened
1 tsp garlic powder with parsley
1 pkg wonton wrappers
1 bunch green onions, small, chop using only the stalks
vegetable oil for frying
1 can(s) crab meat, small, drained

Steps:

  • 1. In bowl, mix together cream cheese, garlic powder and the green onions. Add crab meat.Take the wonton wrap and spoon about 1T in it and close all four sides pinching it in the middle to close. In a deep pan, pour in vegetable oil. enough for deep frying. Heat the oil for a few minutes. Then drop the filled wonton into the oil and deep fry for one minute stirring while it frys. Remove from pan with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel to drain. Serves 12.
  • 2. Serve with sweet and sour sauce or horseradish sauce.
