Crazy Crust Pie image

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup shortening (not oil)
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 can pie filling (cherry or apple)

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients EXCEPT pie filling with a mixer for two minutes.
  • Pour into 9 inch pie pan.
  • Make a hole in the center and pour the pie filling in.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon over the top and bake in a 350ºF.
  • oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
