Creamy Apple Noodle Kugel image

Since it uses applesauce as well as fresh apples it is very moist, easy and quick preparation, and great apple taste. When I am in a really big hurry, I just double the applesauce and don't bother with the fresh apples.

I'm wondering if I could use a different type of noodle in this recipe. I'm not a big fan of egg noodles.

I was really disappointed with this kugel. The noodles were soggy and the apples were mushy. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure what went wrong.

This kugel was a bit too sweet for my taste, but my kids loved it. I think I'll try using less sugar next time.
