Farm house cookies image

One of my grandmas recipes... Not sure were this came from and have never made them or tried them...

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 c shortening
2 c sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
4 1/2 c flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp soda
1 c sour cream

Steps:

  • 1. Cream first 4 ingredients; add sifted dry ingredients; alternatly with sour cream. Drop on greased sheets, bake 350 about 12 min. (grandma wrote: I put sprinkles or sugar and cinnamon on them, or frosting.)
