Golden Chocolate Cake image

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 (18-ounce) box yellow cake mix without pudding
1 (3.4-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup water
4 eggs
1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
3 milk chocolate bars (1.55 ounces each), chopped
1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup , chopped pecans
1 cup flaked coconut
confectioners' sugar, optional

Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine cake and pudding mixes, oil, water and eggs beat on low speed for about 30 seconds or until moistened. Beat 2 minutes on high. Blend in sour cream. Stir in candy bars, chocolate chips, nuts and coconut. Pour into a greased and floured 12-cup fluted tube pan. Bake at 350° for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes before removing to a wire rack. Cool completely. Chill before slicing.
