Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, sour milk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Roll out dough and cut with cookie cutters. Bake 10 minutes. Cool and frost or decorate.
