Ground Turkey Cabbage Joes image

Adapted from an allrecipes.com recipe. My version is a bit healthier, using ground turkey, unsweetened ketchup and sugar substitute. You can certainly substitute beef and real sugar and it would be just as tasty. We like a sweeter sloppy so I usually add more sweetener for us. Enjoy in good health!

This recipe was a bit too spicy for my taste. I think it would be better with less chili powder.

I'm not a fan of ground turkey, but I really liked this recipe. The cabbage and bacon really helped to flavor the turkey.

I made this recipe with ground chicken instead of turkey and it was still very good. I also added some chopped carrots and celery.

This dish was a bit too bland for my taste. I think it could have used more seasoning.
