Ham Salad Croissants image

This is one of the best ham sandwich recipes I have ever eaten! I make them whenever I have leftover ham! From "tasteofhome.com"

Number Of Ingredients 14

3 c ground fully cooked ham
2 c (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
2 celery ribs, finely chopped
1/3 c unsalted sunflower kernels
1/3 c finely chopped green pepper
1/3 c chopped dill pickle
1/3 c mayonnaise
1/3 c cup sour cream
1 jar(s) (4 ounces) diced pimientos, drained
1 tsp ranch salad dressing mix
1 tsp coarsely ground pepper
1 tsp minced fresh parsley
8 lettuce leaves
8 croissants, split

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, pimientos, salad dressing mix, pepper and parsley. Pour over ham mixture; toss to coat. Serve on lettuce-lined croissants. 14 points per croissant
