Holiday Snowflake Cake image

The coconut sprinkled on this old-fashioned, fluffy white cake gives the impression of snow, without the cold. It's a beautiful dessert that is a fitting end to a delicious winter meal. It's best to frost the cake just before serving as the frosting may soften over time. -Lynne Peterson, Salt Lake City, Utah

This cake was a hit at my holiday party! Everyone loved the snowflake design and the delicious almond flavor. The cake was moist and fluffy, and the cream cheese frosting was the perfect complement. I will definitely be making this cake again.

I was so excited to try this cake, but it unfortunately didn't turn out as I had hoped. The cake batter was too thick and dense, and the snowflake design didn't come out as clearly as I had expected. The cream cheese frosting was also a bit too sweet
