Hopscotch image

My grandmother's recipe says "Chinese noodles." These are the dry noodles that come in a can. I think one brand in her day was Chung King. They might be called chow mien noodles but you want the dry ones that come in a can. This is fast, easy, no baking, and very rich.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1/2 cup peanut butter
1 6-oz package of butterscotch morsels
1 3-oz can of "chinese noodles"
2 cups miniature marshmallows

Steps:

  • 1. In top of double boiler melt the peanut butter and the morsels together.
  • 2. Remove from heat.
  • 3. Stir in "Chinese noodles" and marshmallows.
  • 4. Cover a cookie sheet with waxed paper and drop by spoonfuls onto the paper.
  • 5. Refrigerate until firm. Enjoy.
