MAMA'S SOUTHERN MEAT LOAF
Not only is this my favorite meat loaf recipe, it is also my sisters , and her family favorite also, my nephew never liked meatloaf till my sister made this version from my cookbook. Steps:
- 1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES F.In a large bowl, add evaporated milk, tomato paste, eggs and sugar. whisk together till mixed. pour in cracker crumbs or which ever you are using, Add chopped onions and bell pepper.
- 2. Add Ground beef, and combine together till well mixed. Shape into loaf. GLAZE TOP OF MEAT LOAF WITH CATSUP, and bake in preheated 350 degree F oven.
- 3. Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
- 4. NOTE: When ever I make this recipe I have to double the recipe and make 2, as you see in the picture. The recipe ONLY MAKES ONE MEAT LOAF.
