Yield Makes 3 servings

Number Of Ingredients 15

3 Catfish fillets cut into
bite size 1 inch cubes
5 tbsp Fish Masala (can be found at any Indian Grocery Store)
1 small bunch fresh cilantro
chopped
2 tsp fresh squeezed lemon
juice
3 cloves garlic - minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion sliced thin
lengthwise
1 green pepper sliced thin
lengthwise
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup water

Steps:

  • - combine Catfish, cilantro, 2 tbsp Fish Masala, lemon juice, garlic, and salt in a bowl and mix well. - saute onions, green pepper, and 1 tbsp Fish Masala in 1 tbsp olive oil for 2 minutes - add water and simmer on medium heat for 10 minutes - add fish mixture and remaining Fish masala - cook for 15 minutes or until fish is cooked through serve with saffron or basmati rice
