Masala Martini image

This cocktail is a twist on a gin gimlet from chef Manish Mehrotra of New Delhi restaurant Indian Accent.

2 ounces gin
1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
1/2 ounce simple syrup
1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
lemon slice, for garnish

Steps:

  • Combine gin, lime juice, simple syrup, cumin, and salt in an ice-filled shaker.
  • Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled martini glass; garnish with lemon slice.
