I was a bit skeptical about the fennel, but it really added a nice touch to the dish. It was slightly sweet and anise-flavored, and it complemented the chicken and potatoes perfectly.

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover chicken. I had some roasted chicken from the night before, and it worked perfectly in this dish. The fennel and potatoes added a lot of flavor and made it a complete meal.
