Microwave Poached Eggs image

I have been poaching eggs in the microwave for many years. For me this is the best way to prepare poached eggs for 2. It is quick, easy and almost foolproof. Please make sure you use a toothpick to pierce the yolk before cooking or it will explode!

I was so excited to try this recipe, but my eggs turned out overcooked. I think I'll try cooking them for a shorter amount of time next time.

I love that this recipe is so versatile. You can add different herbs, spices, or vegetables to the water to change the flavor of the eggs. I've tried adding garlic, chili flakes, and spinach, and they all turned out great.

I'm not a big fan of runny eggs, so I cooked mine for an extra 10 seconds. They turned out perfect! The yolks were still slightly runny, but the whites were cooked all the way through.

I've tried microwave poached eggs before and they always turned out rubbery. But this recipe was different. The eggs were cooked perfectly and had a great texture. I think the key is to use fresh eggs.

I love poached eggs but I don't have a fancy poaching pan. This microwave method is a great alternative. My eggs came out perfectly cooked and I didn't have to worry about them sticking to the pan.

I was skeptical about how well microwave poached eggs would turn out, but I was pleasantly surprised. They were just as good as traditionally poached eggs and so much faster to make. I'll definitely be using this method again.
