Morning Sunrise Smoothie image

Fruit and vegetable smoothies are popular breakfast foods for good reason: They are fast, easy, nutritious, delicious, and portable! This one is like a liquid sunset in a glass. At lunch, a delicately poached egg turns a green bean salad into a silky indulgence thanks to the runny yolk, which fortifies the dressing. You won't miss red meat for dinner when there are meaty grilled portobellos around. These are served atop comforting mashed potatoes.

I wasn't a big fan of this smoothie. I found it to be too thick and the flavors didn't really blend well together.

This smoothie was a bit too sweet for my taste, but it was still good. I think I'll try it again with less fruit next time.
