Mulligatawny Stew image

A sweet mild curry lentil stew with an apple and tomato base. This is a great seasonal recipe for August and September with fresh, local apples and tomatoes. This is my own version of Mulligatawny Stew, but is inspired by a recipe Jamie V. got while traveling in India.

Overall, this recipe was a success. The stew was flavorful and the chicken was tender. However, I found the stew to be a bit too thick and creamy for my taste. I would prefer a thinner, more brothy stew.

This stew was a disappointment. The chicken was dry and the vegetables were overcooked. The flavors were also not very well-balanced. I would not recommend this recipe.

This mulligatawny stew was a bit too spicy for my taste, but I still enjoyed it. The flavors were complex and interesting, and the chicken was very tender. I would recommend using less chili powder and cayenne pepper if you don't like spicy food.
