I've been trying to find a good Oatmeak Raisin recipe for years, and I pretty much made up my own. Tested on my friends and family and got a thumbs up... Soaking the raisins really brings out the flavors

- 1. SOAK RAISINS FIRST... BEAT EGGS AND VANILLA TOGETHER AND THEN ADD RAISINS, STIR. SOAK FOR 45 MINUTES TO 1 HOUR STIRRING OCCASIONALLY.
- 2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 3. Cream butter and sugars with mixer. In a seperate bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. Stir the dry ingredients until well blended. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture and mix well.
- 4. Now, add in the eggs and raisind mixture, and add in the oatmeal.
- 5. Form into balls on cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool for 5-10 minutes or until firm enough to transfer to a wire rack.
