Steps:
- 1. Mix margarine,sugar, egg, orange rind, and vanilla.
- 2. Blend in flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir in pecans
- 3. Form into rolls 2 1/2 inches across. Wrap in waxed paper and chill until firm.
- 4. Slice 1/8 inch thick and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400* for 8 to 10 minutes. This makes 3 dozen cookies.
