My daughter loves this pie. Since this makes 2 pies one is for dinner and the other is for her.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 can(s) sour cherries 303 size
1 can(s) crushed pineapple
1 1/2 c sugar
1/3 c flour
1 small package orange jello
4 bananas
1 c chopped pecans

Steps:

  • 1. Mix sugar and flour in a saucepan, add cherries. ( red food coloring if desired) add pineapple with juice.
  • 2. Cook slowly stirring constantly until thickened.
  • 3. Add jello while hot, cool, add bananas and nuts.
  • 4. Pour into2 baked crusts and cover with cool whip.
