Adapted from Best of the Best of Georgia. A recipe supposedly from Elizabeth of 37th restaurant. A nice way to serve this is in hollowed out individual bread rounds as bowls.

I'm allergic to seafood, so I made this soup without the crab. It was still delicious! The broth was flavorful and the soup was creamy and velvety. I added some shrimp and scallops to the soup and it was even better. I'll definitely be making this so

This soup was a disappointment. The crab flavor was weak and the soup was too thin. I followed the recipe exactly, but it just didn't turn out well. I won't be making this again.

I'm not usually a fan of bisques, but this one changed my mind. The crab flavor was prominent but not overpowering, and the soup was creamy and velvety. I also appreciated that the recipe was relatively easy to follow.
