Rice Krispies-Coconut Macaroons image

Neat! A unique version of the macaroon.The little ones,and adults will enjoy these! 8) They are much healthier than most treats! 8)

Number Of Ingredients 6

3 egg whites
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
2 cups crisp rice cereal
2 1/4 cups shredded coconut

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 275°F.
  • Beat the egg whites until stiff.
  • Beat in gradually,the salt& sugar.
  • Slowly,fold in the rice crisps& coconut& extract.
  • Combine well.
  • Drop mixture from tip of your spoon upon ungreased,heavy paper.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes.
