- 1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
- 2. Grease and flour the cake pan and set aside until needed.
- 3. Mix the eggs, sugar and butter until creamy.
- 4. In a small bowl add the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon (if using), mix well.
- 5. Now slowly add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the saffron water, mixing well.
- 6. Next add the golden raisins and stir just until combined.
- 7. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 50 - 60 minutes. Check cake in your preferred manner and place on a baking rack to cool.
