SAGE BISCUITS image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1C all-purpose flour
1C cake flour
1t salt
2t baking powder
1/4t baking soda
1/2C cold butter, cut into cubes
2T minced fresh or 2t dried sage
3/4C buttermilk

Steps:

  • combine dry ingredients either pulsing in food processor and pulse in butter or by hand cut in butter with pastry cutter until mixture resembles course meal. Add the buttermilk and pulse or stir until dough comes together. Lightly kneed and roll out to desired thickness. Cut with glass dipped in flour. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-25 mins.
