SALMON WITH MUSTARD-DILL SAUCE image

Yield 4 salmon steaks

Number Of Ingredients 8

4 large salmon steaks
1 c. dry white wine
1/4. c. minced shallots
3 T. minced fresh dill
1/4 c. nonfat plain yogurt
1/4 c. dijon mustard
1 T. light honey
1/4 c. freshly squeezed lemon

Steps:

  • preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place salmon in a baking dish just large enough to hold them without crowding; pour wine over salmon, and sprinkle with shallots. Bake 12-15 minutes, basting frequently with the wine. While salmon is baking, in a small bowl blend dill, yogurt, mustard, honey, and lemon juice until smooth. Add any pan juices from the salmon, and stir again. Drizzle over salmon before serving.
